SiteLauncher for Tablets

Visiting a site

To visit a website that is displayed in your list, simply select it by tapping or clicking on it. The selected website will open in a new browser window on your device.

If you are using the default iOS (Safari) or Android (Browser or Chrome) browser on your tablet, the newly opened website will display as a new tab within your browser.

Returning to SiteLauncher

To return to SiteLauncher after opening a new website, simply select the SiteLauncher tab within your list of open tabs at the top of your browser window.

If you do not see SiteLauncher listed as an open tab, return to your home screen on your tablet and select the SiteLauncher app shortcut to reopen SiteLauncher within your browser.

Selecting a new Category

If you do not see a particular website listed in your existing URL list, it may be because it is listed in another Category. Your list of selectable categories are shown on the left-hand navigation pane. To change your current URL list to that of another Category, select the desired Category from the left-hand pane. The list of websites should update itself with the websites contained within the newly selected Category.

To receive more information about SiteLauncher from within the web app, such as current version, select the About icon on the top right of the screen, indicated by the i marker.

Troubleshooting

A website will not load when selected

If selecting a website loads an incorrect website or a 404 error, then the URL of the website may be incorrect or the website itself may be down. If you can still see your list of Categories and websites, then SiteLauncher is working properly. Please contact your Administrator and notify them of the issue.

If selecting the website does not initiate page load in a new tab, then please contact us and let us know.

Selecting a new Category does not load its website list

If selecting a Category loads a blank list, then that Category may not have been populated yet by your Administrator.

If selecting a previously populated Category now reveals a blank list or the list has changed, it's possible your Admin could currently be making changes. Please contact us with the issue so we can perform a follow-up.
